We are a group fitness studio in Ellicott City, Maryland offering a variety of classes.  Zumba®, Zumba® Toning, R.I.P.P.E.D.™, CXWORX™, and BODY PUMP® are some of our popular formats.  Here at Brickhouse Cardio Club, we have fun while working out and keep things fresh and exciting for our members!

​ZUMBA

Zumba Fitness
When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective, and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

 

Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold targets the largest growing segment of the population: baby boomers. It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle. What stays the same are all the elements Zumba Fitness-Party is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere. Zumba Gold is a dance-fitness class that feels friendly, and most of all, fun.


Zumba Toning
When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba toning raises the bar (or rather, toning stick). It combines targeting body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes, and thighs.

 

Zumba Step
All of the Step toning and strengthening for your legs and glutes; all of the Zumba Fitness-Party fun you love.

FITNESS

BODYPUMP

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 430 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

 

CXWORX
CXWORX™ 30-minute format really hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention.

R.I.P.P.E.D.
The One Stop Body Shock™ is a Plateau Proof Fitness Formula that helps you to challenge in each and every class. It is Plateau Proof because your body never gets accustomed to the constantly changing format. Thus, regular R.I.P.P.E.D. participants achieve ultimate results in just 50 minutes. You use free weights, resistance and body weight, combined with Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics and Endurance along with Diet suggestions.

Cardio Jam
Cardio Jam is for everyone. If you love to dance, you will love this class. No experience is required. It’s a dance party that will blast calories while dancing to your favorite music.

Booty & Core
This workout hits your core and glutes hard. It helps increase muscle growth and maximize fat burning. It allows you to have defined legs and glutes that look muscular, but still have that lean-body look. To really get definition and see your effort in the gym pay off, try this class.

YOGA

Yoga
Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility and balance. It is also good for relieving stress and relaxing. Yoga has been used as a meditation technique for thousands of years. As you exercise, you meditate on what your body is feeling and try to be “one with the universe.” Yoga is the perfect way to ensure overall health and physical fitness.

 

Yoga Basics
Want to try yoga but feel afraid that the class may move too fast for you? Are you an experienced yogi who wants to get back to the basics? If so, this NEW class is for you! Beginner Basics Yoga teaches the fundamental principles of pose alignment and breath work in the basic standing, seated, and reclined poses with detailed commentary and descriptions.

Yoga & Meditation
Are you totally stressed on the job? Do you find yourself exhausted from trying to balance life and work? In search of an escape? Come to BHCC and let go of the busy world around you by discovering peace in the present. This new Yoga & Meditation rejuvenation class is a perfect combination of movement and stillness. Experience a gentle, slow-moving deeply relaxing flow of poses and explore peace.

Empower Yoga
Are you looking for a challenging workout to kick off your weekend? Want to build strength, flexibility, and push yourself to be the best you can be? If so, this NEW and inspiring class is made for you! Break a sweat and experience your true power with this vigorous yoga flow that dares you to embrace your inner super self. Recommended for intermediate level students, athletes, and those looking for a hearty workout.
